Today = hectic. So that means LCD Soundsystem and 33hz (that's a link to a free mp3 of "Digital Lover" on the SXSW site) to get the blood pumping. I was going to put up some mp3s today, but that will have to wait until a day when I'm not being slammed from all sides.

hmmm...

I already have a blog, so I'm trying to think of a reason for this blog's existence. Only a day old and already having an existential crisis. My blog cries out, "Who am I? Why am I here?" while it shakes its tiny blog fist at me. As I don't want this to be my "other blog" when I feel like cheating on the other one, I'm toying with the idea of making this a music blog. That way we will have a completely different kind of relationship, a special kind of relationship with little pressure and lots of fun unlike that other blog that is always asking personal questions about my feelings and wants me to share my deepest thoughts and crap like that.

Ahem, but anyway...music.

I've been listening to The Delays for the past few days. I'm digging it although I couldn't believe that the whole band was male at first. I have a weakness for effeminate British singers, so liking "Faded Seaside Glamour" came pretty naturally.

Also on my current playlist:

Low - Monkey
The Kills - The Good Ones
Bent - xoxo
Hood - The Negatives
Hot Hot Heat - Goodnight Goodnight
Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict a Riot
The Feelies - Crazy Rhythms
Fischerspooner - Cloud
Bettie Serveert - Attagirl

I think I'm going to buy The Decemberists new CD at lunchtime.

So welcome....is there anybody out there? If a girl writes a music blog in Alabama and nobody reads it, did it really happen? We shall see.

At the very least, I will get some hot alone time with this sexy, no strings attached blog.
